l'echeance "dakar" approche!!

Bonjour à tous,

pardonnez-moi ce manque de nouvelles, mais la famille, le boulot... Beaucoup de choses à mettre en ordre et je ne dors pas beaucoup (c'est devenu une habitude) Level-It qui s'occupe du site a également pas mal de boulot...La qualité paie toujours!

Avant le grand départ, une foule de petits évènements : le WE passé, les portes ouvertes de chez WIM-MOTORS à Lotenhulle ont fonctionné à plein rendement...La crise?? Quelle crise pourrait-on penser quand on voit le nombre de motos vendues! Mamba sera finalisée point de vue révision mécanique, suspensions, rotules et roulements fin de cette semaine (merci Hans,Joost,Luc,Kurt), ensuite elle ira se refaire une beauté chez mon ami Smity. Il faut qu'elle soit prête pour le 15 novembre, jour du PRE-DEPART du Dakar qui se déroulera près d'Anvers à SINT-NIKLAAS (ça tombe bien ,Hans WESTRA, le boss de chez Wim-motors vient d'ouvrir là-bas un nouveau garage à l'enseigne "W-MOTORS") Le budget est difficile à finaliser, je n'est pas de "master-sponsor" et il me faut démarcher beaucoup de monde lors de mes temps libres pour essayer de boucler la boucle. Ce sera encore plus que probablement sous tente du 1er au dernier jour et sans assistance sur la course, mais c'est une formule qui m'a réussi sur la Transorientale. Un training au Maroc va me permettre de souffler et de refaire de la piste avant le grand départ. Mon ami Roger Harzé de Comblain renouvelle son raid AMAZIGH (homme libre en berbère) après plusieurs périples en Tunisie et compte sur moi pour guider un groupe de motards sur les pistes marocaines (un peu plus de 1800 kms). Patrick Lebon, créateur du raid MARHABA sera également présent avec un groupe important et on a bien l'intention de se croiser dans le grand bac à sable des dunes de Merzouga. Un autre groupe de la région liégeoise sera présent également sur les routes du Maroc d'une façon plus familiale en trail avec les Madames. Il faut croire qu'il y a un vent de liberté qui souffle sur la région avec une envie de grands espaces... D'autres organisations font en cette fin d'année des rallye-raids vers Dakar avec des noms différents, mais je reste mitigé en ce qui concerne leurs succès. Pourquoi? Parce que elles reprennent les mêmes pays éternellement utilisés ces dernières années par le "vrai" Dakar (ça aurait été autrement passionnant avec des pays comme la Lybie, l'Algérie, l'Egypte et j'en passe en Afrique noire), les tarifs restent prohibitifs quand on compare avec l'organisation ASO et la médiatisation reste confidentielle. Or, c'est cette dernière qui fait qu'on trouve des sponsors, ou alors faut vraiment être riche ce qui n'est pas mon cas. Il n'empêche que ces organisations ont le mérite d'exister et proposer un large pannel de raids et rallye-raids aux passionnés. Je vous tiens au courant... Eric
